FPC will be featuring Freeze Protection of Fire Sprinkler Systems in our September 2024 edition, and we need your input.
Please send us articles and news items related to protecting fire sprinkler systems from freezing. This may include an installation report or a “How To” applications article.
We would like to hear about any interesting or unusual applications. We would also be interested in any problems or concerns that were overcome by the application of your products or services. [*Please, leave out the “Sales Pitch.”]
You may want to prepare a simple Do’s and Don'ts list on protecting a fire sprinkler system from freezing.
We prefer articles of about 800 words or less, plus photos and captions.
Photos Request:
Do you have a photo of a frozen fire sprinkler head or ice coming off a fire sprinkler system? We appreciate all related photos, including photos of systems protected from freezing.
Photos may be sent by e-mail, as separate attachments, in .tif or .jpg format; they should be high resolution files.
To be included in our September 2024 edition, we need to receive your materials by August 1, 2024. (Please contact us for possible extensions.) Items received later will be considered for publication in future editions.
Yours for a better fire sprinkler industry,
Brant Brumbeloe, Editor
