ARC Flash Avoidance

FPC will be featuring ARC Flash Avoidance in our June 2026 edition,

and we would like your input. Please send articles, experiences, and any items related to ARC Flash Avoidance.

Articles may address ways to avoid arc flash incidents, and perhaps how to use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety Standards like NFPA 70E.

You may wish to address fire pump controller Arc Flash Mitigation in accordance with NFPA 20 10.1.4.1. And/or give pointers on Annex D of NFPA 70E…

We also welcome any related advice, opinions, and analysis of facts related to ARC Flash Avoidance.

Please submit articles and photographs for consideration by May 4, 2026.

(Extensions may be available if you contact us by the due date.)

Articles should be kept short (600-800 words or less) and should focus on facts and information that will help contractors. (Please leave out the sales pitch.)

Please send us photos of related inspections, testing, and/or any related photos.

Note: Color photos will be considered for use on the cover
